Join us for a Mindful Tune-Up every the final Tuesday of each month ($15). This is an opportunity to deepen your personal mindfulness practice, foster community, and hone your skills for maintaining balance and harmony. You can read more about this class in the Kansas City Star. Beginners are welcome – no prior experience necessary.
Each class is different drawing from a variety of mindfulness practices. They may include one or some combination of the following practices:
- Meditation – focused concentration leading to insight
- Yoga Nidra – a deeply relaxing guided meditation in a supported, reclined posture
- Mindful Yoga – slow and gentle movement
Dress comfortably and bring your yoga mat and meditation cushion if you have them. Rental mats (the studio charges $3 cash, exact change only please), chairs, and props are available at the studio. Pre-registration online is required as space is limited. No refunds are given for missed classes.
